What are affiliates? How do they operate?
Each Dress for Success affiliate location is a member of Dress for Success Worldwide and is an independent non-profit organization with its own policies, staff and board of directors. The Worldwide office licenses the Dress for Success name to affiliates, all of whom fulfill the overall mission of helping women journey towards self-sufficiency. Affiliates provide services to their communities based on local needs, cultural traditions and resources.
What is Dress for Success Worldwide?
Located in New York City, Dress for Success Worldwide was established to oversee and provide support to our affiliates around the globe. The Worldwide office also focuses on strengthening and promoting the Dress for Success brand internationally and developing relationships with corporate, media and other sponsors. How can I make a clothing donation?
Dress for Success Jamaica relies on individual contributions of business attire and accessories to make our clients look and feel their best! Our office is located at Unit 20, Seymour Park, 2 Seymour Avenue. You may drop off suits Monday- Friday between 10:00 and 1:00. You may also call or email us to arrange a pick up.
How can I make a financial gift to Dress for Success Jamaica?
The simplest and fastest way is by following our donate link. You can also mail monetary contributions to Dress for Success Jamaica at Unit 20, Seymour Park, 2 Seymour Avenue. Please make all checks payable to Dress for Success Jamaica. Finally you can make a donation by bank/ wire transfer. To do so please email jamaica@dressforsuccess.org
Is there an organization like Dress for Success for men?
Not in Jamaica, but there is certainly room for one. If you would be interested in starting one feel free to check out Career Gear provides career counseling, interview coaching, business clothing, and follow-up job support to men actively seeking employment. For more information, e-mail info@careergear.org. UTech's Career Services have also begun offering their young men suits for career fair. They accept donations year-round. Give them a call today.
What type of clothing and products does Dress for Success accept?
To ensure that an article of clothing or suit is appropriate for our clients, ask yourself if you would feel comfortable wearing it on an interview or to work. If the answer is yes, then we would accept it.
How can I become a volunteer? What volunteer opportunities are available in my community?
Dress for Success Jamaica is a volunteer-driven organization. Simply put, the individuals who donate their time and talent to us make it possible for us to fulfill our mission. You can sign up to become a volunteer by following the volunteer link. We will then send you a volunteer form and a list of the places can support us.
My company would like to donate new merchandise to Dress for Success. Whom do I contact?

Will my local affiliate pick up my donation?
Dress for Success is a volunteer-run organization, and we simply do not have the necessary resources or staff to provide this service regularly. If you are unable to make a drop off please contact us to schedule a pick up. If you can, however, we would appreciate your dropping off the suits.
I would like to start an affiliate in my community. How can I find more information or learn if one is starting near me?

How can I organize a suit drive?
Email us at jamaica@dressforsuccess.org to get our drive form and policies. A suit drive does not have to complicated to be effective and we would like to offer as much support as possible.
